The wait is finally over, Bromley Phoenix is about to soar into our very first competitive season and the fixtures are locked in!
Our Men’s Team will launch on Wednesday 17th September, tipping off the Medway Cup at home against Sevenoaks Suns II. It’s going to be a huge night as we open the doors and launch our senior team into official competition for the very first time.
Co-founder Andy Roser reflected on the moment, saying: “Launching Bromley Phoenix into competitive leagues marks an important step in our journey. We’ve built a club that’s about more than basketball, it’s about giving players a home to grow, compete, and be part of something bigger.”
And the excitement doesn’t stop there. Just a week later, on Sunday 28th September, our junior squads hit the floor in the London Central Basketball League (CVL). The U14s take on iBall Academy , before our U16s face off against Croydon Cougars For many of these players, it will be their first taste of league action and we can’t wait to see what they’ve got in Phoenix colours.
Looking ahead to the season, co-founder Rob MacAllister added: “Our inaugural season is just the beginning. We want to create clear pathways for young players while establishing a culture of hard work, community, and pride in representing Bromley Phoenix.”
This moment is what we’ve been working toward: creating opportunities, building a community, and giving our players the platform to shine. Every dribble, every shot, every game is part of something bigger the start of a journey that we’re all on together.
We’d love to see as many supporters as possible at our first home fixture to cheer on the Men’s Team on 17th September. Your energy will mean the world to our players and help us kick off our inaugural season,
The season is here. The teams are ready.
Together we rise. 🔥🏀
