Men’s Open Run Launches at Bromley Phoenix

21 January, 2026

Bromley Phoenix is pleased to announce the launch of our Men’s Open Run, offering a new opportunity for players to take part in organised, competitive basketball in a positive and welcoming environment.

Delivered through the Phoenix Foundation, these runs are designed to increase community participation and create accessible playing opportunities for local players. The Phoenix Foundation exists to remove barriers to participation in basketball by keeping sessions affordable, inclusive, and community led, while promoting positive values on and off the court.

Each open run is facilitated by a member of Bromley Phoenix to ensure the runs are well organised and run smoothly. Numbers are capped to maintain quality and flow, helping to create a consistent standard each week.

The cost of each run has been deliberately kept low at £7.50, helping to ensure the sessions remain accessible without compromising the standard of play.

Andy Roser, Co-Founder and Head of Senior Basketball at Bromley Phoenix, commented: “The aim with the Men’s Open Run is to provide a reliable, well run space for players who want competitive basketball without the pressures of league play. Keeping the runs affordable through the Phoenix Foundation was essential, as it allows more people to take part and enjoy the game.”
