Following a hugely successful first season, Phoenix is expanding its junior training programme to create more basketball opportunities for young players across Bromley. Registration is now open for the 2026/27 season.
After winning the South London U16 CVL League Championship, competing internationally in Spain and growing to more than 80 junior members in its first year, the club is preparing for an even stronger season ahead.
From July, Bromley Phoenix will offer basketball training for:
🏀 U12 Mixed – School Year 7 and below
🏀 U14 Boys – School Years 8 & 9
🏀 U16 Boys – School Years 10 & 11
🏀 U18 Boys – School Years 12 & 13
Players will benefit from bespoke high quality coaching, structured development sessions and opportunities to compete in a Central Venue League, with a clear pathway to develop skills, build confidence and enjoy the game as part of Bromley’s best and fastest-growing basketball community.
Places are limited and demand is expected to be high.
“Interest in Phoenix has exceeded all expectations following our first season,” said Rob, Head of the Junior Programme. “The response from young players and families across Bromley has been incredible.
“Expanding our training programme means we can give more young people the opportunity to learn, develop and compete in a supportive environment. We’re excited to build on last season’s success and continue to grow excellent quality basketball across South East London.”
Bromley Phoenix will be hosting summer sessions throughout July for prospective players looking to join. Sessions will be an excellent opportunity for players to showcase their talent, effort and understanding of the game:
