After a landmark first season, Bromley Phoenix Men’s Team is preparing for the 2026-27 campaign and we’re inviting committed players to attend our Summer Sessions and try out for a place on the team.

The 2025-26 season marked an important chapter in the club’s journey. Competing in the Medway Basketball Association for the first time, the team secured an impressive 5th-place finish and established itself as a competitive force in the league.

Off the court, the club continued to grow and create memorable experiences. The squad welcomed professional player Evan Walshe to training, giving players valuable insight into the standards required at the highest levels of the game. The team also completed its first international tour, travelling to Bulgaria to compete against strong opposition and represent Bromley Phoenix abroad.

Reflecting on the club’s first season, Head of Senior Basketball, Andy Roser believes the foundations are firmly in place for the next stage of growth.

“We’ve built strong foundations during our first season, but we’re only getting started. The standards, culture and ambition within the club continue to rise, and these summer sessions are an opportunity for players to prove they can contribute to what we’re building for the 2026-27 season.”

With preparations now underway for year two, the club is looking to identify committed players who can help Bromley Phoenix continue its upward trajectory.

These sessions will serve as official tryouts for players looking to join Bromley Phoenix Men’s Team for the 2026-27 Medway Basketball Association season.

Please note: Players must attend at least one tryout session to be considered for selection.
