Following a landmark inaugural season—from local competitive debuts to an unforgettable international tour—Bromley Phoenix Basketball is ready to tip off our second season in operation. Year One laid down a rock-solid foundation for basketball in our borough; Season Two is all about taking the club to the next level.

Here is what is coming up as we gear up for an action-packed year ahead:

Expansion in Junior Basketball

We are thrilled to announce a massive step forward for our junior division. Bromley Phoenix is entering two new age groups into competitive action, fielding three new competitive teams in total—including a second U16 squad to accommodate the incredible talent walking through our doors.

All of our new junior teams will compete in the London South Central Venue Basketball League, giving our junior players the platform to test themselves, develop their games, and represent Bromley

Upgrading Our Officiating & Community Standards

Building a great club means developing every aspect of the game. Thanks to funding provided by the Medway Basketball Association, we are expanding our table officiating program across all players. This initiative will ensure high standards for our fixtures and provide practical training opportunities for members looking to gain official qualifications off the court.

Coming Soon: Adult Open Runs, Media Day & U12 Funding

• Men’s Open Run Sessions: Due to overwhelming demand, we are working behind the scenes to launch regular adult open runs to give more local players a place to hoop, stay active and connect. Official details and launch dates will be announced very soon.
• Club Media Day: We will be hosting an official Bromley Phoenix Media Day to bring all our teams, coaches, and staff together under one roof for team photos, player profiles and season previews.
• U12 Boost: We are on the brink of securing exciting new funding dedicated entirely to our U12 programme, ensuring our youngest players get the best possible head start in the sport. Stay tuned for the official announcement.

Together We Rise.
